Ali & Mphatso Kadinde – Base leaders
We are Ali and Mphatso Kadinde. We are both born and raised in Malawi and we have 4 wonderful children, Hannah, Nathan and our twins Joshua & Jedidah. Our journey in the missionfield started at YWAM Blantyre, Malawi. In 2012 and with Gods guidance we pioneered YWAM Zomba in September 2019. God has especially placed discipleship and inner healing on our hearts. Although we have been born again Christians for a long time, when we joined YWAM we still had resentment and hurts and the love of the Father has been healing us. We would love every person on earth to experience this love of the Father that brings healing, joy and freedom.
Mirriam Yobe
My name is Mirriam Yobe and I have been in missions since 2019. My vision is to see people that are broken come to a place of knowing God, to be open in their brokenness and become God fearing people. l’m passionate about helping teenagegirls to grow in relationship with God through the girls ministry that we run and also to preach the gospel to the people that have been abused, so that they will experience the love of God. By doing that, they can also come to a place of reconciliation with the people that wronged them.
Florian & Nathalie Zoet
We are Florian and Nathalie Zoet. We got married in May 2021 and started our work as parttime missionaries with YWAM Zomba in June 2021. Nathalie is originally from Congo and Florian is from the Netherlands. We both have a heart for children and are passionate about teaching people about the goodness of God. Nathalie is mostly involved in kids and youth ministry, including the girls ministry. It’s her passion to see young ones discover that there’s a God that loves them and has a plan and purpose for their lives. Florian is focused on Bible studies, encouraging the local churches through preaching and relationships and evangelism.
Goodson Kweche
My name is Goodson Kweche. I did my DTS in 2016 in Blantyre, after which I have been involved in leading a church in my home village Jali. In 2020 I joined YWAM Zomba. I have a passion for kids and Bible study. I really want the kids to have a good relationship with God by telling them Bible stories. In Bible studies I want to see people digging deep into the word of God in order for them to build their character from the Word and also that they can share to others what they are learning.
Elias Stia Medi
My name is Elias Stia Medi and I’m married to Evelyn. I’m from Zomba and I did my DTS in 2021 and from 2022 I joined YWAM Zomba as a staff member. My passion is to teach youths and help them to experience the peace of knowing God deeper and to see them grow in trusting God. I feel like working for YWAM is what God is calling me to do.
Jotham Nguluwe
My name is Jotham Nguluwe and I’m from Malawi. I did my DTS in 2019 at YWAM Blantyre. My heart is to reach the unreached and to see more people being connected to God. It is my vision to see the Youth being transformed and know their identity in Christ. I’m involved in Youth Ministry, Sports Ministry and Kids Ministry. And I’m so excited seeing how the youth is committed to know more about God.
